This course focuses on the essential care for HIV-positive pregnant women to prevent mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) and promote the health of both mother and child. It covers preconception planning, antenatal interventions, clinical assessments, and laboratory investigations. By following evidence-based practices, healthcare providers can enhance maternal and child health outcomes and reduce HIV-related risks during pregnancy.
